Gaugler's Lady Master Venus celebrates the mystique of the feminine spirit. Evident in this series are Gaugler's signature gestural strokes that acts as if the brush has a life of its own and the artist is just a mere channel through which Lady Master Venus gradually becomes. It has been said that after the life long futile struggle of man against his own intellect, he will collapse, and from the pieces there will be the sound of water and to Lady Master Venus we will return as a child to his mother.
